Setting up 2 connections to VPN from same location

A colleague and I want to connect to the same VPN from the same remote location (over a cable modem connection). Our location has a NetGear WNR854T wireless router.

The problem is that the VPN sees us both as having the same IP address so it will only let one of us connect to the VPN at a time.

We have static IP addresses available from our ISP, but I don’t know how to configure the router with them so that the VPN will see us as distinct users. I am not even sure that this particular router is capable of handling 2 different VPN connections.

Can anyone recommend a solution for configuring our existing router or a particular new router model??
