Setting up a 2 node MSCS using an IBM DS400 as shared Storage

by scooksey . Updated 17 years, 11 months ago

I have two IBM xSeries 346 servers, each equipped with two fiber channel cards. My goal is to create a two node Microsoft cluster with the fiber attached IBM DS400.

We have many setups like this on site already but this is my first experience using anything other than a SCSI attached EXP400. There is new terminology like “initiators” that I’m unfamiliar with.

If someone could point me to a walk-through on the setup or even a document that explains the basics I would be very appreciative. Thanks!
