Setting Up a Network

by m.campbell . Updated 21 years, 2 months ago

Hi there,

I work for a charitable organisation in Scotland. I have had excellent advice on Network Management before from TechRepublic. I have another query.

We have a new centre opening soon. It shall have 28 PC’s and 1 server. We have purchased SBS 2003 (Premium) as the Operating System for the server. We are about to set up the equipment. We also have a main centre which has 60 users and 3 seperate servers running Windows 2000 (DNS Server), Exchange 2000 and ISA Server. I was wondering how we will go about connecting the new centre to the DNS server and if it is possible to connect SBS 2003 to the main WAN network. The new centre shall have to connect to the main site so users can access their files, gain access to email and internet access.

Hope you can offer guidance.

Thanks in advance.

Marc
