Setting up adapter teaming

How would I set up what Intel refers to as adapter teaming on IBM Netfinity 4500’s and Permanet servers which have AMD PCNet on board chipset nic as well as an AMD chipset Nic card. Bottom line is that both Nics will need to share an IP address forfault tolerance capabilities. Unfortunately IBM shipped servers with drivers and documentation for the Intel chipset, an Intel Nic card, and then informed us that adapter teaming was impossible with AMD paired with Intel. Thanks
