Setting up connection between two offices

by jjanes . Updated 16 years, 9 months ago

I have one office in L.A. and we will be opening an office in New York.
I need to know the sort of things I will need to put into place to make communication between these two offices smooth and fast without multiple logins and such. Neither office has a server running currently but one is available to be setup with Server 2003 software The only thing I can assume at this point is that both offices will have connection to the internet. I can setup the server 2003 to create a network in the main office. Then I want the other office to connect ot it logins and such. I don’t know alot but can follow along figure things out kind of quickly with the right guidance. Ideally the second office would logon to our server. The main office has about 20 people in it and the New York office would have about the same.
I would toplogies described and then where configurations would need to take place. I would need these in more detail
