I am asking for some much needed assistance. I took over a position in our family business recently and have a lot to learn. This job was given to me because I do have quite a bit of IT experience but lack in the server area. I have been all over technet and have used google like crazy. I can not hire a consultant so I am asking for help here.
We just purchased a new server with SBS 2003 R2. We run SBS 2003 (w/o SP1) at this time. We have one Static IP set up via our ISP. We have 25 users on our network.
My question is how do I go about setting up this server without taking down the other one? I only have the one internet connection. I want to test this server with a new domain name but just not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
