Setting up RAID 1 on live system

Hi all,

I have a current server running with a single disk in, we had a disk failure recently and managed to restore from a backup. We’re now going to configure RAID 1 (2 identical drives) to keep a mirror in the event this happens again. My questions is can you setup a mirrored array on a live system without destroying the data thats on the currently installed disk?
