Setup FTP server behind a router

We have a DSL broadband and a router for internet sharing, I’d setup an ftp server but the pc ipaddress is private(192.168.1.105) how it will be visible to the internet if my ip address is only private? Ive tried port forwarding but im not successfull. Please give me some help, thanks in advance!!!

Note : im using a linksys router
