share Mac & PC DSL ?

share a Mac & PC DSL ethernet modem line?

I?m trying to share a Mac 8500/120, running OS 8.5,on DSL line with a PC, using Netgear ethernet hub EN 104, PC is ok, but mac says DSL server not responding, after it ? looks for services??

what do u think about this sw router?
