Shared Folders, NOT Happening

I will keep this short.
2 computers-xp home-wireless network-admin rights on both-window firewall off- norton firewall configured properly-can see shared folders on both-can ping both… Now I can access folders on one computer, but I cannot access folders on the other, but I can see and ping. I am at my wits with this. Please someone release this awful problem for me.
