Shared folders on windows xp pro server

I am having a problem with a 4 cpu network. The customer wants me to create 3 shared folders on his windows xp server to be shared with him and 3 different users on 3 different cpu’s. I created the folders on the server an on 2 cpu’s they work fine. On one win xp cpu It wont allow me to access the new folders even though I have admin privileges set but can access old shared folders. I create new shared folders and this machine wont see it, even reboots of the server and the stand alone machine. What am I doing wrong?
