I am setting up a home network with four computers. Is there a way to share the dial-up connection on all computers at home using wireless technology? My computer has a 56K US Robotics modem that I use for my dialup connection. ( I live in a rural area and have no other options for Internet connection)I would like to be able to share the Internet connection that is on my computer with the other computers in the house (2desktops,1 laptop)Is there a way to do this wireless so that I can move around the house with my laptop and access the Internet?
thank you for any help or suggestions. I know I need a router and wireless nic cards, but do I need anything special because it is a dial-up connection vs. a cable modem or dsl connection coming into the house. thank you
