Is there a way to recover the SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration console? I stupidly deleted it and have reinstalled SharePoint 3.0 multiple times. After each reinstall, I am still unable to see the Central Administration console, although I can see the default team site that comes up after the Configuration Wizard. If I try to access Central Administration, I get “Internet Explorer can not access the web page.”
I have reinstalled .NET 2.0 and .NET 3.0 as well as removing and reinstating IIS 6.0 on this server. I have tried searching the server for an HTML application; that didn’t work. I’ve tried googling everything under the sun, but the majority of hits I get are for using Central Administration to do site recovery. I can’t even get to Central Administration.
Does anyone have knowledge on how to get Central Administration back?
