My SBS2003 machine is throwing this error for any upload from any machine:
The form submission cannot be processed because it exceeded the maximum length allowed by the Web administrator. Please resubmit the form with less data.
I have already:
Checked the httpRuntime maxRequestLength and it is fine.
Checked the upload size limit and storage quotas in central administration.
Read and followed http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925083/en-us
Any other reason this error would be showing for for ANY upload?
Other Info:
I moved the DB to a new HDD yesterday.
I can move/download/replace/upload files with no problem using mapped drives/folder shares.
I CANNOT save from an application to a file openned from the server. (IE – editing an excel file) This applies to both shortcuts/mapped drives and the sharepoint portal. In either case the program throws a ‘Could not connect to the Web Server.’ messagebox.
The length error message appears instantly no matter the size or format of the file.
This is NOT a new install of sharepoint.
