Here is my issue.
I recently setup a new Server 2008 Standard server as a terminal server. I also setup some HP thin cients. One of the users had a HP Laserjet P1005 connected to thier old computer. I was able to get it installed on the thin client and it works fine.
Now when I remote desktop to the terminal server, it doesn’t bring the printer with. I have made sure the box is check under local resources. I have also tried to add it by opening Windows explorer>expanding network>finding the thin client and right click on the printer and then connect. I comes back with an error that says “Windows cannot connect to the printer. Operation could not be completed (error 0x000000c1).”.
I am pretty sure that is has to do with Server 2008 a being 64bit. The only wierd thing is I also have a Small Business Server 2008 that I was able to get it connected to.
Anyone got any ideas?
