sharing folders in an outlook mailbox

I’m a bit of a newbie but it seems that no matter what I do I can’t seem to be able to share folders in an outlook inbox (no I’m not refering to delegation!) when I right-mouse-click on the item the “sharing” option is greyed out. This, so far, is only happening to one particular user. Any Ideas?
