Should I install windows on my SSD instead of my HDD?

Dear computer experts

Recently I switched from an older msi gaming pc to an acer predator orion 5000 (i7, 32GB, RTX3080). This is an improvement in every way! However, the startup time is much slower. I suspect this is because the windows system of my new predator was installed on the HDD when I bought it. The boot time of my MSI was lightning fast because then windows was on my SSD.

The question I want to ask is, is it better to move the Windows operating system from my HDD to my SSD? If so, what’s the best way to do this? And why would Acer install it on the HDD by default?
