Sleep Mode on SCSI Devices

Is anyone aware of a utility or method that will enable/disable the “sleep mode” power saver for a SCSI drive on a desktop computer? Specifically trying to put an HP CD Burner Model 9200I to sleep. Thanks for you suggestions!
