Slow connection

I have just upgraded to NetWare 6 and everything works fine except, when I go to access the drives on the Novell server they are very slow. It takes 5 to 6 seconds to open a folder. I don’t remember is taking this long in NetWare 5. I have 98 through XP machines running and they all do the same thing. Are there any tips someone can give me to speed up this connection. Thanks in advance for any help.
