Hey guys last sunday we just re-formatted all our computers and win03 servers which is win03 enterprise edition. Then we re-installed everything again to our computers except for our servers, we installed win03 R2 and configured it just like our former win03 enterprise servers. Then monday morning our users complain that our internet connection is slow. I hooked our internet connection directly to 1 computer only and its fast then set it back to our network and then it was slow. This is what we have noticed, we tried to download Yahoo Messeger and it always aborts, i tried to turn on win03 r2’s firewall then we can download Yahoo Messeger very fast but we cant access the internet, i turn off the win03 r2’s firewall then again back to the YM download problem but this time we can access the internet but its still slow, we need to refresh the browser twice before the website will load and still it took 15 secs and more before it loads. I have concluded that win03 r2 is the cause of the problem but we have no problem with our network speed only our internet connection, our win03 r2 is configured to be a DNS,WINS,DHCP,FILESERVER, & AD.
