Small Business Server 2000 – Uninstall from Add \ Remove Programs ?

Hi All
I am integrating a small company into my larger domain \ WAN, the small company has only 1 server which is MS Small Business Server 2000. I want to join it to my Domain but I have been told that this is not possible and I need to install Win server 2003, but I have also been told that some earlier versions of SBS were applications that were installed on the server – and the fact that I can see it in the Add \ Remove Programs list bears weight to this – does anyone know if I can uninstall this component and then join the W2K server to my other domain ?
