Hello,
I am fairly new to setting up a network from scratch… Here is my sitation. I have about 10 internal computers and servers which need to share a gigabit connection for sharing video and media files. 4 of them will have static ips for the outside world and I have a 5th IP for the rest of the computers.
If I take the Charter Business Class Cable Modem and plug that into this router:

take the output of that router and put it into this switch:
http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1160628689062&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=8906295123B18
will this all workout?
I will have gigabit connectivity between all the internal computers and internet access at each station?
