hi i’m tring to set up a small workgroup so thta all the files and a printer can be shared.
Two of the laptops have xp pro the other has xp home.
they are all connected through a wireless router.
on all three laptops, when i click ‘veiw workgroup computers’in my network places, only the computer i am on shows up
I can access the laptops from each other iether by running the search for computers option, or by typing \\computer name in the start run option. so they do exist! any ideas why they won’t show in the workgroup list?
