Smart devices in the workplace taking up IP addresses

Hello. I manage a small network and have been noticing the shortage of IP addresses in DHCP. Besides workstations we have VOIP phones taking the majority of our IP addresses. But now with smart phones, iPad’s and other mobile devices connecting to networks I was wondering how I.T. Managers approach users connecting to company wireless networks with their personal devices.
