SMC TigerSwitch – Creating VLAN’s/Trunks

I’m trying to setup an SMC TigerSwitch 8624T to enable dot1q trunking between it and a Cisco layer-3 switch.

I’m good on the Cisco side but I spent hours last night trying to get the SMC switch working and I’m not finding a lot of helpful documentation.

I was able to create the necessary VLAN’s on the SMC switch, create the dot1q trunks but I could never get the ethernet ports assignged to the correct VLAN.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
