“smrgdf program not found” message at start up after program uninstall

Hey everyone,
I installed iolo System Mechanic 7, and after I uninstalled the program I get a blue screen(winXP)black screen(win2000) with the following message “smrgdf program not found- skipping autocheck”. The computer does bootup and start and works fine, but I always get that message at startup. If I reinstall the Program I do not get the message and starts up normal. but I do not want the program. I tried to use a restore point, but computer says it was unsucessfull. I am running winXP and Win2000PRO on separate computers they both have this issue, please help on what to do. I have searched on the forum and tried some stuff but no success. Thank you
