SMTP could not connect to the DNS server

Hi,
I have some problem in the event viewer of my exchange server 2003. It seems that oftenly there is event id 2012 with detail SMTP could not connect to the DNS server ”.It may be down or inaccessible. However all the incoming and outgoing mail works fine. Is the a way to fix this error? Currently using window 2003 server.Thanks
