SMTP lookup?

Hello,

Hopefully an easy one here. Is there a tool that would allow me to easily find an outgoing smtp setup through an exchange server?

Here’s the situation, I have a Xerox copier equipped with Scan to E-mail and it needs an outgoing smtp server but the credentials listed are for an exchange server and it shuts me down each time. I think if I go directly to the smtp address it might work. So is there a tool out there that will easily allow me to discover the address and other valuable info?

I’d really like something where I could send an E-mail out and have it bounce back info kinda like Trace Route.
