SOA and web service for malicious code detection

I’m a final year B.tech student and my final year project is “Developing an Application to secure organizational network from malicious code”

i’m thinking of implementing this as a web service and implementing it in a simulated SOA.
I wanted to know if it’s possible to create a web service for detecting malicious code using XML,WSDL etc?

I’m still studying up on web services so I have only basic idea how they are implemented.
