SOA: Oracle, IBM & Academic approaches

Hello, I’m working on an Academic project, and in the first phase I need to describe the differences between Oracle, IBM and some academic approaches in SOA.

Can anybody help me to know what do I have to pay attention the most on this research or what could this differences be?

I’m currently reading IBM and Oracle SOA Foundation.
