Software Delpoyment via GPO to wireless clients

I’m finding it impossible to get my Windows XP Wireless clients to receive machine-specific software pushes via Active Directory group policy. It seems as though the order that windows starts up puts the wireless connection after the group policy is loaded. If I plug that same computer into a wired lan and reboot, it gets the GPO deployed software as expected.

I’m not finding any articles anywhere about this. Perhaps it’s a limitation of the OS, I’m not sure.
