I’m coming from a different world of business software and a customer of mine asked if I knew of anything like this existing.
What they need is something along the lines of
Software to track what they are building
Software to ask the builder certain questions about the process, and store those responses
Software to also track the qualification level about the builder (Cert A, Last Training B Date etc,.)
Basically, if the “raw goods” was a sheet of paper, and the “finished good” was a paper airplane. This software needs to collect and validate data that the production of that paper airplane throughout the process was performed correctly.
I did a bit of research on this, and I was not really sure what key terms I should be using to find software that is applicable.
