Some or other spy/monitor tool

hi there.
i need some sort of free software to monitor computers on my network.i need to be able to see what the user is doing on his/her computer without them knowing that i am watching what they are doing.similar to vnc but not to take control over it.basically spying software.if there is anyone who can help me i will be very greatful.Thanks!!!!!!
