Sony BIOS issue

Hello,

I repaired a dead Sony Vaio PCG-GR370 for my neice and everything went well until I stupidly went to the Sony web site and updated the BIOS with their WinPlash utility. Everything still works except for the card bus controller. The LAN card is no longer recognized when I plug it in. It is seen as a PCMCIA MTD-0002. I have Googled this issue and found no help. Is there anyone that knows where I might find a fix for this and make this pc able to connect via wireless again. It works like a charm with a wired connection. The card in question is a Cisco Aironet 350 and I have the newest drivers from their site.
