I have a VAIO VGN-A295HP
When I bought it I had a problem with connection to the networks (internet and LAN), when I connected to any network either with modem or Ethernet or wireless or switching between wireless networks, the windows were freezing for 2 to 20 minutes, I called SONY support and they told me to do a full recovery of the notebook (using the sony recovery)
I did it and at the same time I changed the hard drive and I added 512 MB memory (total 1 GB now)
Now I get the same problem with freezing but when the computer boots (not related with network connections) after the boot everything works fine (without adding any extra program, not even antivirus!) and the most mysterious is that when the computer is idle for 10 seconds the HD led light on continuously and stays on until I use the HD (open a windows explorer, run a program etc.) Could anybody have any solution or any suggestion about these?
