Speaker problem: unwanted radio signal.

Not exactly feedback on the computer speakers, but rather a radio station. Living on nearly the 30th floor in downtown Chicago seems to have its issues.
I need to know how to insulate the wires so as to cut out this transmission. The signal is constant, even if I turn down the speaker volume to zero. Any ideas?
