Speed Up IE6…

How can I speed up IE6 loading pages? IE seems to load images very slowly now, it didn’t used to. What settings can I modify that will help speed up loading time? I have 64Mb RAM 700MHz Celeron, DX 9beta (I DL DX8.1 too) IE6 SP1 witha all updates. Like 40Mb Temp IE Cache setting. Although a program I have says that my current Internet Explorer Actual Cache was at 130Mb. Where can I find that setting and what can I do to speed this up?
