Hi and thanks for your time/help. Running Windows SBS 2003 and Exchange with OWA. I am trying to access our OWA internally via the same address that I would externally. I can do it externally, but not internally. OWA works when using the server internal IP instead.
I would prefer to not use Hosts files and instead use DNS on the server to resolve my issue. I created a new Zone with the domain name that we own (domain.com). I then created an A record (mail) and pointed it to the servers internal IP. (mail.domain.com – 192.168.x.x) This WORKS. BUT, now, how do I access www.domain.com if www.domain.com is not being hosted internally? I can’t create an A record for WWW because I have to point it to an IP address. The IP of the website is dynamic. There has to be something I am missing.

If it helps, the main issue here, is that I have a few mobile users that want to use Outlook via RPC over HTTP. If I use the external FQDN as the server, internally it doesn’t work. Thanks.
