I may have simple question but can’t figure the reason out.
We installed SQl Express on a Windows Server 2003 in a workgroup setup. Already suspected the IT local IT would change to domain but didn’t now for sure. Everthing was working fine.
Now 2weeks later local IT folks change workgroup to a domain and join the server…now when the server is bootet up SQl will not start…Checked the SQl Manager and service screen…stopped.
I couldn’t figure out why and what I may have to change to get it going.
To get them up and running I uninstalled SQL and reinstalled and it was working…ok nice work arround….BUT
What is the reason why it stopped from going from workstation to domain? What is the EASY way, w/o uninstalling SQL, to take care of this problem.
