SQL Server connection problem

I?ve installed SQL Server 2000 on my computer, also built an Access project to connect it. In SQL Server Enterprise Manager, I set up a new user, for example, “user1”; but from the Access project file (.adp), cannot use user1 to connect with database.
I just set up in Enterprise Manager (local) ? Security ? Logins, new user “user1”, Server Access “Permit”; also in that specific database, Users, add user “user1”, Database Access “Permit”.
What else do I need to set up, in order to connect database from my adp file using “user1”?
