General Question: BEST Config for new Servers – Should I setup SQL using theold PDC/BDC for simplicity, or go (make the transition to) AD?

MAny are pushing me into AD, saying I gain a lot for SQL. I don’t see it. MY concerns are really what to do when the MAIN SQL SERVER goes down. At least with a BDC, I can setup SQL topickup & continue running. IS my thinking straight? …Your Opinion?

Remember: SIMPLICITY of design HERE, since Administration is minimum, at best.
