SQL Server Management Studio Express and Backwards Compatibility

I downloaded the SQLServer2005_DTS.msi install and ran it on a workstation that has Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio v.9.00.1399.00
installed and I was able to see the legacy Sql Server 2000 packages on another server. Works Great! My Issue is when I try to install DTS Support on a workstation that has Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express v.9.00.2047.00 only, i do not see the legacy dts packages from the 2000 server. Has anyone had any success using SQL2005MMS express and the SQLServer2005_DTS.msi (or the SQLServer2005_BC.msi (Backward Compat)) to work?

BTW This was what I was missing to manage the 2000 servers i have and it works fine from the machine I have 2005 server installed..
