SQL2000 Clustering

Ok, here is what I would like to do/try. Cluster two Compaq ML770’s (MS DataCenter servers with 16 cpu’s) and SQL 2000. I then would stop the Clustering services and and keep the SQL services running all conected to the same drive array. What do youthink? Will I get sharing violations? My ultimate goal is to use Resonate (Performance based alancing software)to load balance SQL. Has anyone tried this????
