SQLSever 2005 and mySAP ERP 2005 on 64-bit Windows 2003 OS

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade our SAP system and we are strongly considering also upgrading to 64-bit both in the server layer and the DBMS. We will be going from SAP 4.6C to mySAP ERP 2005, SQL Server 2000 Standard to SQL Server 2005, sp 2 and Windows 2000 to Windows 2003.

My question has to do with memory requirements for the Server(s) both application and Database.

We have already virtualized the SAP application nodes, and plan to continue with that architecture in the upgraded system.

Thank you for any help you may offer…
Carla
