hi there.
recently i installed an Active Directory on a Domain that has XP pro clients and win 2k3 as server, DNS and DHCP installed on 2k3 machine and they are integrated with Active Directory, Internet connection provides by an ADSL modem and DHCP will set the default gateway of clients to 2k3 and their Prefered DNS to 2k3 either, and 2k3 default gateway and dns is ADSL modem.
queries from DNS servers are set to ADSL modem and 4.2.2.1 .
everything was fine for about a month then clients told me they cant access to SSL and IMAP/POP3 pages over internet, i tried to regonfigure the ADSL modem, and after rebooting the modem, everything went fine, problem happened more and i suggested to replace the modem, now it apears again after one day.
one thing to be notice that they suffering from power failure each day for about 2-4 hours but they have UPSs and they work fine.
