Stand-alone Outlook 2003 to MS Exchange migration

Is there a practical way to migrate stand-alone Outlook 2003 users (PST files) to a full MS Exchange server scenario so that existing e-mails, contacts, calendar events, etc are preserved? The users are currently accessing a newly setup shared hosting MS Exchange server via POP3/SMTP but will soon have their Outlook accounts configured for MS Exchange access.
