Start a career in SAP

Hello,

My name is Mangalam. I am in IT for over 8 years, with expertise in mainframes, my core skillsets being IMS-DB/DC, DB2 COBOL VSAM AND JCL. I want to shift to SAP since it has been a long stint wiht mainframes. How do i get started as i have zero knowledge of SAP? What are the career prospects for the same?
