“STOP” ON WINDOWS NT 4.0 WORKSTATION

by komba.tpdc . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

I GOT A “STOP” MESSAGE AT A BLUE SCREEN DURING STARTING MY WINDOWS NT 4.0 WORKSTATION PROFESSIONAL AP200 WITH DUAL MONITOR. THE MESSAGE IS HALTING MY MACHINE FROM FURTHER BOOTING. THE MESSAGE SAYS ” STOP:C0000263 {DRIVER ENTRY POINT NOT FOUND}. The \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\dlc.sys device driver could not locate the entry point MmUserProbeAddress in driver ntoskernel.exe.”
I re-installed the operating system. But when the machine boots it still stuck on the same place with similar message. I am desparately in need of a solution as my machine contain vital data.
