I have a Linksys WRT54G router with 3 machines connected to it. One is a Vista Home Premimum (wireless laptop), XP Pro SP2 (wireless laptop) and XP Home SP2 (wired desktop). The XP Pro and Vista machine can get unto the internet with no problem. All 3 machines and a wireless printer can communicate with no problem. However the XP Home can’t get out to the internet. The XP Home machine can ping the other machines and the other machines can ping it. The XP Home machine can print on the wireless printer. I removed Norton Utilities and the windows firewall is disabled. I removed just about any other software that interfaces to the internet. I also tested the wired connection with the XP Pro laptop and it connects to the internet with no problem. This problem started after I did a resistry cleanup using RegCure (a registry optimization utility).
