Sun One Directory server – No Such Object error

Hello,

I’m not a SunOne ED expert and seems like we are having an issue with the directory services – every time our provisioning system tries to create a new account for European user with one of the native characters in the first or last names – like with “??” or “??”. Account provisioning fails according to the logs but if I browse ED, I see that new object – without a single attribute and with NO SUCH OBJECT error next to it.
I can’t delete it, I can’t modify it, but it is still there and our mapping and sync processes trip over it… How do I get rid of it for good?
